David Cann

A Londoner by birth, David Cann has lived in Askew Ward for 27 years and has watched the area improve rapidly over the last four years under the
Conservatives.

He sits on the Police Safer Neighbourhood Team Ward Panel, is Chairman of Governors at Bentworth School and has led local campaigns to clean up the streets.

As an actor, he can sometimes be seen on TV but prefers to focus on issues such as education, reducing crime and improving community cohesion.

Lisa Homan

Lisa Homan is a sitting Councillor for Askew ward and has lived in the Borough for over 26 years. She is married to Rob and they have a 22- year-old daughter, Rhiannon.

She is a Trustee of the Fulham Citizens Advice Bureau, was a school governor in the Borough for 13 years and Chair of the Old Oak Housing Association for 11, standing down last September.

Lisa is also a keen Chelsea FC supporter.

Henrietta Bewley
Henrietta Bewley went to school and has lived in Hammersmith for 23 years.

Having studied Geology she is an environmental campaigner and helper at Greenfest West London.

As a Councillor she would like to tackle energy wasteage in Council buildings and to improve recycling.

As a cyclist she has campaigned on making the roads safe and repaired. She is a professional singer and singing teacher.

John Howard
John Howard is a one post code man! He has lived close to the Askew Road all of his 45 years and as a child attended the Good Shepherd Primary School.

It was there he met his wife Lisa, who was in the same class. Active in the
local community, John is a trustee of Hammersmith United Charities (John Betts House & Sycamore Gardens).

He is also a Queens Park Rangers season ticket holder and coaches mini-rugby at London Irish.

Caroline Needham

Caroline Needham has lived in the Borough for 40 years. She and her husband Steve met through their work for SHELTER and have raised three sons now in their twenties.

Caroline worked in education and training, specialising in assisting people to access vocational training, work experience and job opportunities.

She set up Intermedia, a pioneering specialist careers advice and training agency for the creative industries based in White City. Caroline has recently retired from managing Social Policy Research for Help the Aged. She enjoys going to the theatre and gardening.

Nathalie Bristow

Nathalie Bristow lives in Shepherd's Bush and owns local Cupboard Cafe.

As a former barrister she has invaluable inexperience in areas such as housing, family matters, crime and civil litigation.

With 3 young children, she is passionate about local education and as a small business owner she will champion the revitalisation of Askew Road shops.

Kayser Izard
Kayser Izard has lived in Hammersmith & Fulham for seven years and has
always involved herself in the local community.

She is a maths teacher
working in a state secondary school in London and is following the progress of the Hammersmith Academy closely. In addition, Kayser is a School Governor at the very popular Lady Margaret School.

In her spare time she enjoys reading and cooking.

Rory Vaughan
Rory Vaughan is a sitting Councillor for Askew and has lived in the Borough for over 12 years. He works as an advisor on financial services regulation. He and his wife, Anne, have a young son.

Rory leads on Adult Services for the Labour Group on the Council and has campaigned for improved services for older and disabled residents. Rory has also previously served as a governor of several local schools and as a Director of local environmental charity, Groundwork West London.

Rory enjoys playing football, reading, walking and travel.

Rob Easthope

Rob Easthope has lived in the area for 2 years and is fed up with the cutbacks of the Tory-run council.

Working in social housing, he has seen the tragic effects of
council cutbacks in vital social services and is sickened by how the cost has been passed on to the elderly & disabled.

He wants to see more support for Askew,
repairing neglected roads, helping business in Askew Road, and expanding borough
recycling.
