Police are appealing for witnesses to a stabbing attack in Westfield Shopping Centre on Saturday to come forward.

A man in his twenties was stabbed multiple times in the centre in Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday, 12 October around 7pm when it was crowded with shoppers.

He was treated at the scene and observed being taken away by police and paramedics on a trolley. Police say he was taken to a west London hospital, but his condition is not life-threatening nor life-changing.

Anyone who has information that could assist police is asked to call 101 ref CAD 6386/12 Oct.

They can also speak to Crimestoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.

Police said they were not treating the incident as terror-related.

A crime scene remained in place through Saturday evening and after the attack police sought and gained authorisation for a Section 60 Order for the entirety of the boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea until 7am on Sunday, 13 October.

Last month two males were stabbed at the West 12 Shopping Centre on the other side of Shepherd's Bush Green.
