With craft workshop, a special shopping weekend and a visit from Santa
Christmas celebrations at W6 Garden Centre in Ravenscourt Avenue kick off this Saturday, November 16 with its Kids' Club holding a Christmas Crafts Workshop from 11.30am till 2.30pm.
Suitable for all ages, the workshop will be run by West Six staff member, gardening expert and local mum Sally Fee. West Six will provide all the equipment needed for children to decorate cookies and make Christmas cards using dried leaves and potato prints.
Spaces are limited so the activity must be booked in advance. All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information or to reserve a place contact West Six Garden Centre on 020 8563 7112 or email info@w6gc.co.uk.
It will be followed by a Christmas shopping weekend – 30 November and 1 December.
Have a glass of bubbles and some nibbles while browsing around the centre's Christmas shop to the sound of a live choir. For the children, a face painter will be adding some festive fun. The new home shop will be officially opened, so if you are interested in upcycled and vintage pieces for the home, make sure you pop in and take a look.
Santa will be in his grotto on December 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15 between 11am and 3pm.
This year, Santa will be parking his sledge in Ravenscourt Park and joining the centre for limited weekends. Watch your children’s faces light up as they step into Christmas fairy-land and set eyes upon the big man himself.
Each visit includes:
Each visit costs £7.50, with £2.50 going to West London Action for Children. Spaces are limited so advance booking is essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
