Including a talk by Jo Livingston on Odd Corners of London
The University of the Third Age, or U3A is holding its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday 9 April at St Mary’s Church Hall on the corner of Edith Road and Hammersmith Road from 10.30 am till 12.30am.
Attendance is free for members. Visitors are welcome for a donation of £2.50 which will be refunded to those joining on the day.
The meetings begin with an update from the Chair, current news from Group Conveners and any other items of interest. This is followed by tea, coffee and biscuits (50p) where members have the chance to socialise.
In the final part, speakers talk on a range of interesting topics, usually supported by audio-visual equipment.
This month the speaker will be Jo Livingston talking about Off Corners of London.

Hammersmith & Fulham U3A has been active in Hammersmith for the past 11 years. A general meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month for all members where matters of the day are discussed and a speaker is invited to give a talk. Members also organise various activities across the month at given venues or members homes.
The U3A is aimed mainly at people who have retired or are semi-retired, but other people who feel they have time to enjoy leisurely activities are always welcome.
Among those activities are Arts & Crafts, Current Affairs discussions, Pub Lunches, Creative writing, Book group, Photography, Film, and many others.
