A selection of classic films to be shown to a socially distanced audience
The cinema at Riverside Studios is going to open on 24 July.
They are promising a great selection of family favourites and classics and are beginning on the first night with Back to the Future.
After that there is a mixture of relatively new films such as Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse and long established favourites such as Princess Bride, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and The Goonies.
They are following Covid-19 safety guidelines to make sure your visit to Riverside is as safe as possible and, as a result, cinema capacity has been reduced from 200 to 68. Because of this approach you won’t be able to select or pre-book specific seats. These will be allocated in advance of your visit so that they can ensure that there is at least 1m space between groups of visitors. They encourage you to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
As a courtesy to others you are asked to wear a face mask during your visit – all staff will have face coverings.
The Riverside Studios have also opened their Bar & Kitchen with a brand new menu.
