Famous Hammersmith venue recruits range of staff ahead of relaunch
Hammersmith's Riverside Studios is recruiting staff this month ahead of its reopening, now set to take place this autumn.
The venue is holding a Recruitment Open Day at Hammersmith Town Hall on Tuesday 16 July from 10am till 6.30pm, and says: "Come and discover West London's most exciting new venue and how you can be part of the new Riverside Studios."
The open day will offer details of the following career opportunities:
Venue Operations Managers, Venue Operations Staff, Catering Managers, Catering Staff, Administrative Staff, Technical Staff, Heritage Activities Manager, Heritage Project Archivist and Building Manager.
The studios advise visitors to bring along proof of ID and Right to Work in the Uk documents such as: Passport, Birth Certificate, Residence Card etc. and a photocopy of each.
The riverfront venue has already recruited a number of management staff and is also now looking for an Archivist.
It says: " We are seeking an experienced Archivist who will implement and develop systems and procedures for the proper management of Riverside Studios' fascinating archive.
"They will work on archives with much untapped potential and will have the opportunity to set up a records management system from scratch. The role will have a strong community engagement focus and the post holder will work closely with volunteers."

Earlier this year the venue, in Queen Caroline Street said it would reopen 'in phases' with Riverside TV Studios set to become first to launch, as it is now inviting booking enquirieis ahead of the opening of Studio 1. This studio has an iconic brick wall and space for a seated audience of 400 and is expected to host a mix of comedy, music performance, quiz and panel shows, with tickets available to local people.
Sam's Riverside, a 4,000 square foot brasserie and cocktail bar with views of the Thames from every table as well as an outdoor terrace being launched by well known local restaurateur Sam Harrison, is also set to open this summer and enquiries can now be made by emailing hello@samsriverside.co.uk.
