Great Start For New Antique Venture At The Black Lion

Next fair now scheduled in November

On October 9th, the inaugural Black Lion Antiques Fair took place and was well attended with 10+ antique dealers taking stalls outside in the extensive garden & inside the skittle alley.

Trade was brisk from 12 till 3.00 pm with antique dealers selling paintings, rare books, silver, jewellery & even furniture. 

Many locals were delighted with the interesting array of antiquities on display and highlighted how well suited the venue was to this kind of event.

The next date has been booked for Sunday 6th November with a surge of interest from antique dealers who delight in the civilised atmosphere & good food available as well as not having to get up at the crack of dawn ! Vintage wine tasting has been promised by Buzz the fabulous Landlord!
