May Madness Takes Over Starch Green

Join the fun at new community event on Saturday

May Madness is set to take over Starch Green and Askew on Saturday May 17.

Highlights of this new community event include an Alice in Wonderland trail along Askew Road, Maypole dancing, pavement art, sunflower planting and stilt walking, plus a plant sale, face painting, fancy dress competition, pedal powered smoothies and lots more.

Everyone is welcome to this event, which will run from 11am till 2pm. It follows last year's very successful Edible Askew Road festival, run by Hammersmith Community Gardens Association in partnership with the Askew Business Network and sponsors, local estate agent Finlay Brewer.
