London Corinthian Sailing Club Pushes The Boat Out

Have a go at sailing with a taster session at award-winning club

London Corinthian Sailing Club (LCSC) is offering the chance of a freetaster session on the river in Hammersmith on Sunday 20 May as part of RYA’s Push the Boat Out national campaign to encourage people to start sailing.

Whether you’re completely new to sailing or looking to get back on the water, LCSC will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres across the country taking part in the event. Between 2.00pm and 4.30pm you can try a free 20-minute sail in a dinghy with an experienced club member on the River Thames in front of the Clubhouse (taster sessions available for anyone 14+ Years).

Call 020 8748 3280 to book a slot in advance and for more details: including what to wear! After having tried sailing, you will be able to celebrate and mingle with fellow sailors with a BBQ (small charges apply).

Richard Pettifer, LCSC Commodore, said “We are delighted to be taking part in the RYA Push the Boat Out again. It’s a great opportunity to invite the local community to come and have a go at sailing and find out what the club has to offer. Book a slot – you might just get hooked!”
