Shows to delight audiences aged two to 11 run from September till Christmas
The season begins on 8 September with Penguin, pictured right and includes the return of some Little Lyric favourites, as well as some new companies who will all be sure to delight young audiences with adventures, magic and enchanting stories.
Over the October half term children can enjoy the brand new adaption of Pirate Pearl and the Big Blue Monster, while the season closed with the much-loved family favourite, Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas returning for the festive season, especially for under-sixes and their families.
The Lyric add that as part of its commitment to make all families feel comfortable in the building, they have reaffirmed their support of new mothers by releasing their breastfeeding statement. The Lyric welcomes babies to be breastfed in any public area of their premises, or front of house staff will endeavour to accommodate mother and baby in a private space if preferred.
This is part of the Lyric’s ongoing work as an official Partner of Parents in Performing Arts (PIPA).
