Nominations Invited for Youth Achievement Awards

New awards aim to recognise contributions of 11- 25 year-olds

Hammersmith & Fulham's first Youth Achievement Awards are aming to spotlight young people who are doing amazing things in the borough - and nominations are being invited before the final deadline of Wednesday 16 January.

The nominations can be from peers, teachers, youth or social workers and practitioners, for young people aged 11-25 who live, work or go to school in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

They must give reasons why they are nominating the young person and these should relate to achievements made within the past two years.

The awards have been organised by H&F's youth
council and the Young Hammersmith & Fulham Foundation, with help from local businesses and organisations.

"Young people do so much to help make H&F a place to be proud of and we felt that should be recognised," says Fede Dal Brollo, H&F Council’s Youth Mayor, pictured above.

"It’s been fantastic finding out about some of the amazing things young people are doing every day. We want to hear more, so don’t delay and get in touch before the deadline!"
