Westfield's Restaurants and Stores Celebrate Veganuary

With a range of discounts, special offers and exclusive meat-free dishes

Among those offering meat free menus are the recently opened Pastaio, picture above on the centre's southern terrace, offering a 'green menu' substituting plant-based ingredients where needed - including a carefully chosen vegan mozzarella, which the restaurant says it is proud to use in its Cacio e Pepe - vegan cheese, lemon, tellicherry pepper, Pastaio olive oil.

Tapas Revolution, run by celebrity chef Omar Allibhoy from Madrid, is saying Viva Vegan this month a range of Spain’s much-loved tapas adapted for vegan customers.

Dishes include: CROQUETAS DE SETAS - creamy mushroom croquetas served with truffle alioli; VEGAN ALBÓNDIGAS - beetroot, oat and lentil meat-free balls served in a rich tomato and vegetable sauce and GARBANZOS CON ESPINACA Y ALCACHOFAS - spiced chickpea stew with baby spinach and artichokes.

Along with Spain’s favourite PATATAS BRAVAS, PIMIENTOS DE PADRÓN and PAN CON TOMATE there’s also a vegan alioli on offer as well as a vegan dessert, vegan ice-cream served with a shot of Pedro Ximenez sweet sherry.

Other restaurants offering meat-free treats include Bill's where you can order a vegan main course and add a vegan desset for £5; The Real Greek where you can order four vegan dishes this month for just £9.99; Busaba, where you can try the vegan Aubergine Curry for £7.99; Wagamama offering vegan Suika Tuna, created using dehydrated watermelon steak, exclusively for Veganuary and Pho, with 12 new dishes including vegan chicken options. And you can finish your meal at Soho Coffee and enjoy vegan smoothies, vegan whipped cream and more.

A number of beauty shops are also celebrating Veganuary, including Urban Decay and its new Stay Naked collection in a fully vegan formula and Lush, offering a wide range of vegan body, bath and skincare products.
