Free Cultural Walks Continue


Take a summer stroll through our local history

This summer's free Cultural Walks across the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham continue in July with a treat for curry fans in Fulham's End Road and Olympic celebration in Shepherd's Bush.

Here are the details:

Saturday July 24, 11am - Fulham Curry Trail

A tour of the cosmopolitan North End Road, learning about Indian food, dance, fabrics and rituals. This walk lasts 120 minutes and the guide is food writer Monisha Bharadwaj.

Meet at West Kensington Underground Station. Booking is required.

Saturday July 24, 2pm -  The Shepherds Bush Olympics

Celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the 1908 Olympics in White City, which has gone down in history as "The Battle of Shepherds Bush" and also find out the latest on what's happening in Stratford for 2012. This walk lasts 90 minutes and the guide is Simon Rodway.

Meet at Shepherds Bush Central Line Underground Station, Westfield exit, no need to book.
