Vue Cinemas Host Autism Friendly Screenings
See The Spongebob Movie on Sunday June 28 at 10am
Vue Cinemas are hosting autism friendly screenings at 10am on the last Sunday of every month at 78 cinemas nationwide, including Fulham Broadway, Westfield and Shepherd's Bush, in the West 12 Centre.
Autism friendly films are special screenings of children's films, where subtle changes to the traditional cinema environment have been made, namely –
- Lights are left on low
- The sound is turned down
- Trailers and adverts are not played
- It's ok for people to move around during the screening and make a bit of noise.
The next Autism Friendly film at Vue Cinemas will be The Spongebob Movie; Sponge Out of Water showing on Sunday June 28 at 10am, with tickets priced from £1.99.
