Applications for this voluntary role must be received by Tuesday 29 May
If you love Hammersmith's own theatre and can spare up to six days a year you could be just who the Lyric is looking for.
Applicants will need to share a passion for The Lyric's artistic work and young people’s programmes and commitment to being an equal, diverse, inclusive and environmentally sustainable organisation.
The Lyric says to complement the current board’s skills and in light of the forthcoming retirement of some existing board members, it is keen to appoint trustees with particular strengths in any of the following:
• Finance
• Fundraising, including the ability to access personal, public or private sector networks for the Lyric’s benefit
• Communications and advocacy
• Education, training and skills development
• Commercial acumen and entrepreneurism
• Digital strategy and innovation
• Legal
The theatre adds that it is proud of the diversity of its board and wish to continue to extend the range of backgrounds and perspectives represented.
It is particularly interested to hear from potential trustees who are under 35 or from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
The role of a trustee is voluntary and likely to take around four to six days each year.
