Our patch of West London contains a number of very popular small theatres, each with its own busy autumn programme.

A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen - on till 22 November

New Dreams Theatre offer Henrik Ibsen's classic psychological thriller, a superb choice of play for cold November evenings!

On from 24 November to 13 December

Something Wicked Theatre bring the compelling story of a childless woman living her life in rural Spain, bewildered because her husband has no desire to have children.

THE SPOOKY MAGIC THEATRE by Richard Leigh - on till 18 December

This show is traditional great fun providing you don't mind hearing things that go bump in the night and you don't mind seeing ghosts. Ideal for children aged six and upwards.

Drayton Arms Theatre, Old Brompton Road

Macbeth - November 15 and 16. innovative take on 'The Scottish Play' (Macbeth) features femmes fatale, high-speed chases, killer lines, killer crimes and some seriously weird sisters.

Donizetti’s Don Pasquale - November 24 - 28. Operatic season begins with comic opera, sung in Italian with English subtitles.

Treasure, on till November 14, Tuesday to Saturday 7.30pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees 3pm. Yiddish classic play by David Pinski, reviewed here.

Vibrant 2015, on till November 12. A festival of Finborough playwrights.

Flowering Cherry by Robert Bolt, 17 November - 20 December. The first London production in over fifty years of Robert Bolt’s first West End play, Flowering Cherry.
