Lyric Fest Offers Two Days of Fun in Lyric Square

With giant karaoke tonight and day of family activities tomorrow

 

Today and tomorrow, 19 and 20 July Hammersmith BID and Lyric Hammersmith join forces for Lyric Fest, with music, theatre, dance, food and family activities.

This evening's events begin with live acoustic music from Kal Lavelle, plus DJs and a barbecue, on the Lyric’s roof garden from 6pm before the action moves down to the square below, from 7.30pm -10.30pm.

The evening's highlight will be a community singalong with the band Ultimate Anthems providing the music including hits from the 80s, 90s and Noughties.

On Saturday, Lyric Square plays host to family fun from 11am till 4pm, with a jam-packed programme of activities for the whole family, including face painting, circus acts, arts and crafts, and special performances of Bugsy Malone.

Also on Saturday 20, as part of the Mayor of London’s National Park City Festival, the Lyric Theatre will be holding tours of the Lyric bee hives between 11am and 4pm. These tours will be limited to eight persons at a time and booking is required via the Lyric's website.
