Students facing challenges can still apply for International Baccalaureate Programme
The TBAP 16-19 Academic Alternative Provision, or AP Academy in Fulham, part of the TBAP Multi Academy Trust, has extended its deadline for enrolment.
Learners now have until 22 September to apply for a limited number of remaining places.
The academy, in Finlay Street off Fulham Palace Road is the first of its kind in the UK, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
The IBDP is a challenging and exciting alternative to A-Levels, and is recognised across the world. Learners at TBAP 16-19 Academic AP Academy study a wide range of subjects including the Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Mathematics and Languages.
Learners also receive a high level of support and mentoring to prepare them for success in Higher Education and beyond.
Gemma Dixon, head teacher, TBAP 16-19 Academic AP Academy, says: "GCSE results day should be a day to celebrate. However, if you’ve underperformed due to social and emotional challenges or exclusion, results day can be a world away from the exam celebrations we see in the news.
" Our innovative new school in Fulham, TBAP 16-19 Academic AP Academy, offers you an alternative route into Higher Education and we still have some places available this term."
