The closing date for primary school admissions is Thursday January 15, and parents of children born between September 1 2010 and August 31 2011 are advised that anyone who hasn't applied before now should do as soon as possible.
Hammersmith and Fulham Council recommends parents apply online, saying that there a number of benefits, not least that it is quick and easy. The e-admissions system is designed to help parents by guiding them through the process, ensuring they do not miss anything vital or make any mistakes.
The system is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, meaning parents can edit their application and change preferences right up to the closing date.
The outcome to online applications will be sent by email in the evening of Wednesday April 16 for reception and junior schools.
For secondary, UTC and studio schools, the outcome will be sent on the evening of Monday March 2.
