Free exhibition at ACAVA's Central Space Gallery opens this week
Members of the Riverside Artists Group are presenting the second part of Dividing Line, an exhibition presenting a rich diversity of approaches at
ACAVA's Central Space Gallery in
Faroe Road W14, from 20 - 30 June.
Whether a wall, a border, or cultural divisions, a dividing line is an artificial
construction. In fact is the line really there? In Visual Art the difference between light
and shade can make what appears to be a line. One colour against another colour
appears to have borders that delineate. At the same time the fluidity of a single line,
the expression and way it is formed can give what it divides more life and substance.
13 artists are taking part in this exhibition, in its second year at the Central Space Gallery. It is open froim Thursday to Sunday, 20 - 23 June and 27 - 30 June from 1pm till 6pm, with talks by the artists on Sunday 30 June between 4pm and 6pm
Entry is free and all are welcome.
ACAVA's Central Space Gallery is at 23 - 29 Faroe Road, north of Olympia in W14.
