Qualifying rounds at The Queen's Club open to the public this weekend

Ahead of this year's Wimbledon Tennis Championships, beginning on 1 July, the Fever-Tree Championships are coming to The Queen's Club from 17 - 23 June.

This year, players taking part include Andy Murray, who is returning to take part in the doubles tournament, alongside British No.1 Kyle Edmund and No.2 Cameron Norrie, last year's Wimbledon and US Open finalists Kevin Anderson and Juan Martin Del Potro, defending champion Marin Cilic and three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka.

Before they arrive, The Queen's Club hosts qualification rounds on Saturday 15  and Sunday 16 June which are open to the public - and free to watch.

The qualifying matches feature talented players from outside the top 50 in the ATP world rankings, battling it out in some exciting matches to earn the right to play the higher ranked players who qualify automatically.

This year three Top 50 players will be part of a strong line-up trying to earn qualification for the main draw, including last year’s semi-finalist Jeremy Chardy (ranked No.41), talented 21-year-old Taylor Fritz (No.42) and No.48 Adrian Mannarino.

They will be joined on the qualifying entry list by big-serving American Reilly Opelka, Australia’s Bernard Tomic, who reached a career-high No.17 three years ago, and the unpredictable hot-shot specialist Alexander Bublik.

There is no need to book tickets in advance for the qualifying rounds - simply turn up on the day and you can go in. Play is scheduled to start at 11am on Saturday and Noon on Sunday. Eight matches are scheduled on Saturday and four matches on Sunday. The schedule is subject to change at the Tournament's discretion.

Entry will be on a first come, first served basis and is limited to a maximum of 800 people per day. Re-entry is not allowed during Qualifying, so if you leave the grounds you will need to re-join the queue to enter the Tournament again.

As final preparations for the Tournament are still taking place over this weekend not all facilities within the grounds will be open.

For more information visit The Queen's Club.

Limited tickets are still available for the Tournament itself. Find out more and book tickets online.
