Your Chance to See Top Level Tennis for Free

Qualification rounds at The Queen's Club open to the public this weekend

Residents in Hammersmith & Fulham have the opportunity this weekend to watch some of the worlds top up and coming tennis players -absolutely free.

Many of the world’s top tennis players, including Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka will descend on West Kensington this month to take part in the Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club, ahead of the Wimbledon championships.

However, before those players arrive, qualification rounds for the tournament take place on Saturday 17 June and Sunday 18 June and are open to the public.

The qualifying matches will feature talented players from outside the top 50 in the ATP world rankings, battling it out in some exciting matches to earn the right to play the higher ranked players that qualify automatically.

There is no need to book tickets in advance - simply turn up on the day and you can get in.

However, entry to the ground is limited to a maximum of 500 people each day, so you’ll need to get there early to maximise your chance of a seat.

Eight matches are planned for Saturday, with four matches scheduled for the Sunday, subject to change at the tournament’s discretion.

During qualifying, preparations will still be taking place for the main tournament (starting Monday 19 June), so not all facilities in the grounds will be open.
