Four arrested after joint operation finds array of knives and 'Class A' worth £100,000
As this picture shows, the collection includes knives, handcuffs, a hammer, a bow and arrow - and a policeman's helmet and Spiderman mask.
Police told of the raid and subsequent arrest of four men on their Twitter account, @MPSHammFul.
Tweeting after the operation,they said: " Part 1/3 - Excellent joint work by our neighbourhood teams @MPSAskew, @MPSShepherdBush. @MPSAvonmore, @MPSHamBroadway and @MPSSpecials.
"Part 2/3 - Drugs warrant executed on Askew Ward, approx 3000 wraps of Class A seized, estimated value over £100,000, 4 males arrested.
Part 3/3 - This array of weapons also seized from the address and now off the streets. #StopKnifeCrime."
Local people responded by tweeting their congratulations on this result. London Chauffeur @CrownChauffeurs said: " Good to see those weapons are off the streets."
