Joining from Richmond to take on Partnership and Neighbourhoods Portfolio
Chief Inspector Hannah Wheeler has joined Hammersmith & Fulham Police after serving as temporary Chief Inspector on neighbouring Richmond Borough.
Hannah has had a varied career, joining the police in 1993 and serving on Ealing Borough in both a uniform and CID capacity, working on the Crime & Disorder Act crime audit before moving to Brent Borough on promotion to Sergeant.
After working at Wembley & Kilburn on team, custody and as Diversity Sergeant Hannah moved to Hendon police Training school as an Inspector and oversaw the vast change programme from residential police training to the Initial Police learning and Development Programme (IPLDP) based at multiple sites across London.
After working at the Central London Training centre in Victoria Hannah moved to Richmond Borough and worked in various roles, forging links with the Home Office by running both the vulnerability risk assessment and Community Trigger pilots to address and reduce Anti-social behaviour (ASB) which have now been rolled out and incorporated into MPS policy.
Hannah has taken over the Partnership and Neighbourhoods portfolio for Hammersmith & Fulham Borough and says she is passionate about strengthening our existing partnerships, forming new alliances and supporting our communities and volunteers.
