Catch classic films in our favourite parks

Outdoor movies have become an annnual tradition in September, with parks across the borough hosting screenings throughout the month.

At Fulham Palace, the third summer film series runs on Thursday evenings throughout the month in partnership with The Nomad (presented by Lexi Cinema).

Screened on the palace lawns, the line-up of films is as follows:

When Harry Met Sally - September 5
Four Weddings and a Funeral - September 12
Amelie - September 19.

The Nomad is also hosting screenings in the spooky surroundings of Brompton Cemetery, and though Donnie Darko on September 10 is now sold out, tickets are still available for Edward Scissorhands on September 11. You can buy them online priced £16.50 each.

Pop Up Screens is showing films in September at two local venues - Bishops Park in Fulham and Ravenscourt Park in Hammersmith. Though the first two films, Pulp Fiction and Dirty Dancing are now sold out, you can still buy tickets to family favourite Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Sunday September 8, with doors opening at 7pm and the movie showing at 6.30pm. Tickets cost £8 or £5 for under-tens and you can buy them online from WeGotTickets.

At Ravenscourt Park, the schedule is as follows:

Fight Club - September 13
Blues Brothers - September 14
Wizard of Oz - September 15

Tickets are still available for all three screenings priced £8 each, or £5 for under-tens seeing The Wizard of Oz or you can a weekend ticket for all three priced £20.

There will also be food on offer including popcorn, supplied by Drum and Kernel Popcorn, a fully stocked bar and some of the capital's best street food with the likes of Dosa Deli Indian Wraps, Van Dough Pizzas and Phileas Hog Hog Roast.
