Gates Open for Garden Squares Weekend


Visit borough's greenest spaces on Saturday and Sunday

This weekend, June 17 and 18, is Open Garden Squares Weekend, with gardens across London opening their gates to the public.

In our borough, the following gardens are open:

In Fulham:

Fulham Palace, Saturday 11am - 4pm. Four special guided tours by volunteers for OGSW ticket holders at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm. Head gardener and members of the gardening team present in the walled garden. Museum open 1-4pm. Drawing Room Café serving light meals and refreshments, 9am-5pm. Plants for sale.

Fulham Palace Meadow Allotments, Saturday 11.30am - 3.30pm. Guided tours. Teas and light refreshments. Plant and produce stall.

All Saints Vicarage Garden, 70 Fulham High Street, open Saturday 11am - 4pm and Sunday 2pm - 5pm. Tea, coffee and cakes available. Help yourself, donations welcome in aid of the upkeep of the garden.
All Saints Church and churchyard next door, accessible through back garden gate. Grade II*, beautiful glass, mediaeval tower and some of the finest monuments in London. Open 10am-4pm. Sunday services at 8, 9.30, 11.30am and 6pm. 11am - 4pm. Poet in residence: Diane Mulholland.

In Shepherd's Bush:

John Betts House, on Goldhawk Road/Rylett Road, open Saturday, 2pm - 5pm, refreshments including home make cakes and plant sales.

Phoenix Farm and Learning Zone, open Saturday 10am - 4pm. Plant sale and refreshments

In Hammersmith:

Ravenscourt Park Glasshouses, Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm. Herbal activities. Plants and refreshments for sale. Café next door for refreshments.

William Morris Society, Kelmscott House, 26 Upper Mall, open Saturday 2pm - 5pm. Museum open. Book and gift stall. Handout containing Morris’s description and plaSn of the 1880s garden. Display of Morris’s designs. Children’s quiz and trail. Refreshments available

Sycamore House, Sycamore Gardens, Shepherd's Bush Road. Open Saturday 2pm - 5pm: Tea, coffee, homemade cakes. Plant and craft stalls.
