Hammersmith and Fulham's most fascinating buildings are opening to the public this weekend for Open House London 2014, an annual celebration of celebrates all that is best about the capital’s buildings, places and neighbourhoods.
In Hammersmith, buildings opening their doors include:
Colet House, unique building for artists, Sunday 10am - 4pm
Emery Walker's House, Hammersmith Terrace, Sunday 11am - 4pm,
regular tours on the history and architecture of the house, first come basis.
LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art), Talgarth Road, Sunday 10am - 4pm,
regular student led tours and demonstrations. First come basis.
Larmenier and Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Brook Green, Saturday 10am - 4pm, regular tours led by pupils, first come basis
Maggie's Centre at Charing Cross Hospital, Sunday 12pm - 4pm, with some tours
Rogers Stirk Harbour Partners, Thames Wharf, Sunday 10am - 4pm, regular architect-led tours, first come basis
Sulgrave Gardens Passivhaus, Saturday 10am - 5pm
Temple Lodge, Queen Caroline Street, Sunday 1pm - 5pm, first come basis
St Andrew's Church and Star Community Centre, Greyhound Road, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm
V&A Study Centre, Blythe House, Saturday and Sunday, 11am - 5pm, courtyard and reception areas only, including the krazy kat arkive. Tours of the Clothworkers' Centre at 12noon, 2pm and 4pm. Pre-book ONLY on 0207 942 2211.
William Morris Society, Kelmscott House, Saturday and Sunday, 11am -4.30pm, regular tours, first come basis. Printing demonstrations on Morris' Albion press throughout Saturday.
In Shepherd's Bush visitors are invited to:
BBC Television Centre as it prepares for redevelopment (Saturday, 10am - 5pm with tours every 30 minutes, to be pre-booked by emailing openhouse@ahmm.co.uk
Bush Theatre, Saturday 10am - 1pm, regular tours, pre-book ONLY via Box Office on 020 8743 5050
Goldhawk Road residence, modern extension to Victorian townhouse, Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 1pm, first come first basis.
Greenside Primary School, Saturday and Sunday, 1pm - 5pm, half-hourly tours, first come basis. Children's worksheet/trail

Fulham Palace, Sunday Pre-book ONLY tours of offices not normally open to the public in main palace: 10am and 11am upstairs in main Palace. Max 10 per tour, many stairs so unsuitable for disabled
2.30pm, walking tour by Keith Whitehouse, Fulham Archaeological Rescue Group. Highlights of excavations at Fulham Palace over the last 30 years including the 1970's and 2010-11 moat excavations. Max 15 people. Pre-book for above tours on 020 7736 3233 option 7
Sunday 12-3 hourly tours of ground floor public rooms and new Jessie Mylne Education Centre. Museum also open 12-5pm. Restored vineries and walled garden open 10.15am to 4.15pm
