Summer of Love Comes to Local Libraries

Joining Mills and Boon's campaign to make us rekindle our love affair with books

Mills and Boon, the publisher famed for its romantic fiction has teamed up with Hammersmith and Fulham libraries to encourage us to fall back in love with reading

Mills & Boon and The Reading Agency are working with the libraries in our boroughs and a number of others across the country to promote a campaign called #LoveAtTheLibrary.

The campaign aims to remind adults of the joys of reading and inspire them to visit their local library and rekindle their love affair with books.

Running until July 31st, libraries are creating eye-catching Mills & Boon displays, with the most creative winning books and other prizes.

Libraries will share their displays on social media using the hashtag #LoveAtTheLibrary, and many are hosting exclusive reading and author events to create a summer of love.

The campaign highlights the 100th Mills & Boon romance, Bought for the Greek’s Revenge, from bestselling Northern Irish author, Lynne Graham. Lynne has sold over 35 million books, making her one of the most successful Mills & Boon authors in the publisher’s history.

Lisa Milton, Executive Publisher at Mills & Boon says: I’m really excited to work with The Reading Agency and local libraries to renew people’s love of reading. At Mills & Boon we want to reinforce the message that it’s never too late to get back into reading.

" Whether you are a life-long Mills & Boon fan or are about to fall in love with the books for the very first time, the #LoveAtTheLibrary campaign brings a huge element of fun to encourage us to head to our local libraries and borrow more books."
