"Ask a Gynaecologist" Live Web Chat on September 15

Hosted by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's Professor Keith Edmonds

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is hosting a web chat on Tuesday 15 September between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, based on female reproductive development disorders and adolescent gynaecology, including: menstrual disorders, fibroids and endometriosis.

This is your chance to ask Professor Keith Edmonds, consultant gynaecologist, your questions including:

How to recognise signs and symptoms, and what to do if you’re concerned
What causes gynaecological conditions, how are they diagnosed, and how common are they
Current treatments
Current research

Professor Keith Edmonds has worked in the gynaecology department at the Trust for more than 30 years. Keith has extensive experience in many aspects of gynaecology but has a special interest in adolescence and congenital abnormalities.

Everyone, including patients, the public, GPs and other health workers are invited to submit questions from 12noon on Tuesday 15 September via the web chat system which will go live here on the day. All queries can be submitted anonymously.

You can also follow the chat or submit questions in advance through our twitter channel @imperialnhs and hashtag #askagynaecologyexpert
