Actor among local luminaries honoured in Queen's Birthday List
A number of Hammersmith and Fulham residents have been included in the 2011 Queen's Birthday Honours List.
Perhaps the best known is actor and writer Tim Brooke-Taylor which lives in Hammersmith. Tim, 70 was awarded an OBE for services to light entertainmment alongside his Goodies partner Graeme Garden.
He said: "
I'm very very pleased and not to say a little surprised – but very pleasantly so. At first I thought it was my son trying to con me."
