Could You Foster a Child?

Find out at regular information events this autumn

Could you become a foster carer?

Three local boroughs, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster City Council joined their adoption and fostering services in April 2012 to provide a dedicated service for adoption and fostering.

You can find out more by going along to one of the regular fostering information events taking place this autumn where you will have the opportunity to find out more about fostering in person from a social worker and/or a foster care.

The event will include a powerpoint presentation and therefore it is important to arrive at the schedule time. You will also have the opportunity to raise any questions you have with a social worker or foster care at the event

Events this autumn are as follows:

Fostering information evening Tuesday 17 September 2019 6pm - 8pm Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, W8 7NX (Committee Room 5)
Fostering information morning Thursday 17 October 2019 10.30am - 12.30pm Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, SW1E 6QP (room to be confirmed)

You can also find out more about fostering at sessions held on the first Wednesday of every month between 10am and 4pm at Hammersmith Town Hall, 1st Floor, King Street, London W6 9JU.

Please go to the reception on the first floor of the Town Hall Extension and ask to speak to a member of the fostering team, who will then come and meet you.
