North End Road closed as six fire engines tackle fire in chicken shop
London Fire Brigade is tackling a blaze in a chicken shop opposite West Kensington Tube Station in North End Road on Tuesday morning.
The Fire Brigade were called to the scene at 9.50am.
The brigade tweeted @LondonFire at around 10.10am:
" There are now 6 fire engines, 30 firefighters at the #chickenshop fire on North End Road, West #Kensington. "
Firefighters from Fulham, Hammersmith, Kensington and Chelsea fire stations are all on the scene.
Because of the fire, North End Road is closed to traffic at the junction with Talgarth Road, and motorists advised to avoid the area.
