With classes for dogs and fun activities for humans
A dog show at Hurlingham Park, postponed by Hammersmith and Fulham Council earlier this year due to bad weather is now taking place on Saturday July 12.
The event follows the success of the Ravenscourt Park Dog Show in 2012 and 2013 and is to all dogs in the following classes:
Best rescue dog
Best cross breed dog
Best puppy
Best young handler
Best pedigree
There will also be a raffle, a dog agility course, free dog micro chipping, bouncy castle and slide.
The Parks Police Service will also provide advice for local dog owners on how to look after their animals within the borough’s parks and open spaces.
H&F Parks Inspector Mike Rumble says: " The Hurlingham Park dog show promises to be a great day out for dog lovers. There will be lots of fun activities as well as advice on responsible dog ownership so I urge as many dog owners as possible to attend."
Registration is at 11am and the event runs till 2.30pm. Entrance into the show costs £1.50 per dog with all proceeds donated to charity Dogs Trust.
