Some tickets still available for this weekend's Davis Cup Quarter Final

After losing out at Wimbledon, Andy Murray returns this week to Barons Court, scene of his triumph in June, to take on the French.

From Friday, July 17 Andy will join his brother Jamie and the rest of Team GB at The Queen’s Club to face the French national team over a weekend of matches on the grass courts in Palliser Road.

It’s a happier venue for Andy after he netted his fourth Queen’s Club men’s singles title in June by beating Kevin Anderson. His four Queen’s trophies now put him in the elite company of John McEnroe and Boris Becker.

The world number three says: " Queen's will be a perfect venue for our quarter final match against France. I’ve been playing at Queen's for 10 years now so I feel very at home there as do the rest of the British team, so it’s a great choice.

" Fingers crossed it’s a memorable summer for British tennis."

It will be the 21st meeting between the two nations and Great Britain’s second successive year in the World Group quarter-finals after the team defeated the USA in the first round. While last year’s finalists France earned their place after defeating Germany.

This is the first time Great Britain will meet France since 1992, with the winners of the tie set to face either Australia or Kazakhstan in the semi-finals.

Established in 1886, The Queen's Club was the first multipurpose sports complex ever to be built, anywhere in the world.

A limited number of tickets are still available on Monday, with one booking per person. Each booking is a maximum of two tickets, for one day of the tie only.
