The Hammersmith Campus of Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College is throwing open its doors on Thursday, December 23 to homeless people from across West London.

Over the Christmas period, until December 31, the college will become one of four Crisis at Christmas centres in London. Guests coming to the centre will be offered food, clothing, the opportunity to take advantage of an in-house dentist, college hair salons and IT suites, as well as receive advice and support on a range of areas, including education and training.

Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people and is dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life changing services and campaigning for change.

Every year at Christmas, the charity opens centres across London where homeless people can enjoy food, warmth and companionship. This year, it hopes to welcome over 2,000 people at Hammersmith and the other centres in Finsbury Park, Bermondsey and Stratford, with the help of 8,000 volunteers.
