Police observed Thomas behaving suspiciously in Wormholt Park
A man has been jailed for drug offences after police found him behaving suspiciously in Wormholt Park.
On 11 August at Isleworth Crown Court, Delano Thomas, 41, of no fixed address, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and possession of criminal property.
He had pleaded guilty to both of the offences the same day.
The court heard how on February 24, Delano had been observed by two police officers who were on routine patrol at Wormholt Park in Shepherds Bush.
They observed that Thomas was behaving suspiciously and the officers decided to approach him.
Delano was searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act and was found to be in possession of 21 wraps of herbal cannabis in his waistband, and approximately £125 in cash.
Delano was immediately arrested and taken into police custody. He was subsequently charged and remanded into custody.
