Fulham Man Charged with String of Sexual Offences


Philip McEwen will next appear at Isleworth Crown Court

A man from Moore Park Road in Fulham has appeared at Ealing Magistrates' Court charged with a string of sexual offences involving children under 16.

Philip McEwen, 52 appeared at the court on Monday, October 7 charged with:

-  Indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years
- Attempted rape of a female under the age of 16 years
- Rape of a female under the age of 16 years
- Indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14 years
- gross indecency with a boy under the age of 16 years
- making an indecent photograph of a child
- Possession of extreme pornographic image portraying an act which threatened life
- Possession of extreme pornographic image portraying an act likely to result in serious injury to a persons private parts
- Possession of extreme pornographic image portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead/alive animal
- Possession of extreme pornographic image portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead/alive animal

The incidents relate to alleged historic abuse of one boy and one girl under the age of 16 years between 1996 and 2003.

Detectives from Ealing Child Abuse Investigation Command are investigating.

McEwen will next appear on bail at Isleworth Crown Court on 21 October.
