Violent Drug Dealer Jailed for Three and a Half Years

Fisher admitted possession of drugs and and ammunition

A violent drug dealer from Fulham's Clem Atlee Estate has been sentenced to jail for three and a half years.

On March 2 at Isleworth Crown Court, Idris Fisher admitted possession of heroin with intent to supply, possession of cocaine and possession of the ammunition.

Police say that following information from the community, Fulham Broadway Safer Neighbourhood Team executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act 2012 at 12 John Smith Avenue SW6 on 4th March 2011.

When entry was gained to the premises, a plastic bag was seen to be thrown from the rear window and into a neighbour's garden.

Inside the bag were 77 rounds of blank firing ammunition which had been converted. Also found during the search was 40.22 grammes of heroin with a street value of approximately £2,681 and an amount of cocaine worth £240. Cannabis was also found in various locations within the house.

All the three persons present on premises were arrested.

A tenant living at the address, Leann Tyler was given a community order for one year following her admission of possession of cannabis with intent to supply and her daughter Natasha Tsekiri was given a nine month community order following her admission of possession of cannabis.

Chief Superintendent Lucy D'Orsi, Borough Commander for Hammersmith and Fulham says: "This is another example of the dilligent, intelligence-led proactivity demonstrated by the Safer Neighbourhoods Teams on this Borough.

"Thanks to the information provided by the local community we were able to arrest and successfully prosecute a drug dealer and to help make the streets of Hammersmith and Fulham safer."
