Police Appeal for Help over Sex Attack on 12 Year-old Girl


Assault  took place on November 14 at Clem Atlee Court

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information in connection with a sexual assault that took place at Fulham's Clem Attlee Court.

Police say at approximately 7.30pm on Monday November 14, a 12 -year-old girl was walking outside Jim Griffiths House in Clem Attlee Court when she was approached by a man trying to engage her into conversation.

The girl ignored the man and ran into an arch underneath Jim Griffiths House. The man followed her then pulled down her tracksuit bottoms and underwear. He also pulled down his jeans and boxer shorts, at which point an unknown boy intervened and assisted the victim then walked the girl home.

The suspect is described as a 56 year-old black man with receding hair, medium build, approx six feet tall, wearing a black Mac and dark blue jeans and speaking with an English accent.

Police are also urging the boy who intervened to contact them. He is described as at 15 year-old boy, mixed race with black curly hair, wearing a black puffa jacket which is woolly on the sleeves.
