Police release CCTV pictures of suspect

Detectives from Hammersmith & Fulham Robbery Squad investigating two robberies on amusement arcades in June have released images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery in Shepherds Bush and an attempted robbery in Hammersmith.

Police say the first incident occurred at around 9.50am on Monday June 28 at Caesar’s World Amusements in Hammersmith's King Street.

A man entered the premises, approached a female member of staff, grabbed hold of her arm and demanded money. She broke free of his grip, and he fled from the premises.

The second incident, say police, occurred the same day, June 28, at approximately 10.50am - an hour after the first incident - at Agora Amusements in Uxbridge Road, W12.

The male suspect approached a female member of staff who was wearing a money belt. He grabbed the belt and broke it free from the member of staff’s grasp, then made off with £43.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately five foot eight inches tall, between 20-30 years, proportionate build, and short ginger hair wearing a red t-shirt, blue knee length shorts and trainers.

No arrests have been made in connection with either incident and detectives are hoping that releasing the CCTV images could assist their investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident or who is able to identify any the male from the images is asked to contact Detective Constable Ben Richards based in the Robbery Squad at Hammersmith Police Station on 0208 246 2678

To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
