Knifed after dispute with two men on Talgarth Rd
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Hammersmith.
Officers heard shouts for help on Barons Court Road at 1.43am this morning (30th July). They were unable to find anybody when they arrived at the location.
A search of the local area was conducted and a 33 year old male was found at a residential address in Barons Court Road suffering stab wounds. He was taken to a London hospital where he is in a stable non-life threatening condition.
At this early stage it is believed the male was involved in an altercation with two males on Talgarth Road between the BP petrol station and Barons Court. He was then followed by the two males in a car, possibly a Ford Fiesta, coming from the direction of North End Road. The two men then got out of the car and assaulted the victim.
The first suspect is described as a black male, aged between 28 - 30, approximately 6ft tall and wearing a jacket and white T-shirt. The second suspect is a black male, aged approximately 21. The suspects had a dog with them. No arrests have been made as yet.
The incident is being investigated by Hammersmith CID. Anyone with any information is urged to call 0208 246 2505 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
