Female cyclist was injured this morning in a collision with a van
Fulham Palace Road has reopened at lunchtime on Thursday after being closed in both directions following a serious collision.
A female cyclist was hit by a van outside Lillie Road Recreation Ground close to the junction with Lillie Road at around 9.40am.
The road was subsequently shut and buses diverted but at around 1.30pm Transport for London tweeted @TFLTrafficNews that Fulham Palace Road is fully open southbound, with one lane open northbound.
TfL's Bus Alerts @TfLBusAlert meanwhile says that bus routes 74 220 424 and 430 are now back to normal.
The cyclist, reported to be in her twenties, was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service, along with a witness who was treated for shock.
Police say her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Eye-witnesses say the van crashed through railings after the collision with the cyclist and ploughed into a block of flats on Fuham Palace Road.
Two fire engines from Hammersmith and a fire rescue unit from Chelsea attended.
