UNITED in Hammersmith & Fulham has launched the ‘H&F Winter Covid Appeal’ to support those most in need of assistance.
They want local individuals, businesses and foundations across the borough to get involved.
100% of funds raised will be donated to groups working with people who face risk because of coronavirus in Hammersmith & Fulham this winter.
As the UK struggles with rising rates of the virus and a second lockdown commences, many still need help – including those going through mental health crises, suffering from loneliness and isolation, and at-risk children in need of educational support
Savraj Kaur, Executive Director of UNITED in Hammersmith & Fulham, said, “We want to do everything to prevent this from the coronavirus from being an even worse disaster locally and that’s why we launched a second appeal this year. The winter period is going to be a challenge for everyone, but more so for those who were facing huge difficulties before the pandemic and now due to its effects. Any amount will help us reach those most in need.”
