Hammersmith BID has been announced as a lead sponsor of the Hammersmith & Fulham Business Awards 2026, which return this year to celebrate the ambition, innovation and resilience of the borough’s business community. The BID will sponsor the prestigious Hammersmith Business of the Year category.

The awards, which opened for nominations on 30 April, give local organisations the chance to raise their profile and gain official recognition for the hard work behind their success. Businesses of all sizes—from start-ups and independents to established SMEs and larger corporates—are encouraged to put themselves forward.

This year’s programme features 19 award categories, all open to self-nomination. Entrants may submit up to two categories, with nominations closing at 1pm on Wednesday 1 July. Shortlisted businesses will be announced on Wednesday 15 July.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 17 September in the Playfair Hall at Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s newly redeveloped town hall and Civic Campus. The event is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders and community partners from across the borough.

Hammersmith BID said it was proud to support an initiative that highlights the strength and diversity of the local economy. The awards, now a fixture in the borough’s business calendar, aim to shine a spotlight on the achievements of companies that contribute to H&F’s economic and cultural life.

Businesses interested in entering are encouraged to submit their nominations early to ensure they are considered.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
