Help raise thousands for Hammermith Hospital's cancer research
The 15th sponsored London Pride Walk and Fun Run will take place on July 4, starting and finishing at the Griffin Brewery, taking in the beautiful Thames path over Chiswick and Hammersmith bridges.
This ten kilometre, or six mile, walk or run is a fantastic way for local families, teams or individuals to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Over the last 14 years the London Pride Walk and Fun Run has raised over £1million towards Cancer Research UK's life-saving work. Last year 500 participants, many taking part in memory of a friend or family member, raised a total of £33,500.
All the money raised from the event supports vital cancer research work at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust at Hammersmith Hospital where scientists' and doctors' research work includes investigating links between hormones and breast cancer, running clinical trials and testing new drugs for lung, prostate and breast cancer.
Anyone over 18 can take part in the walk and fun run. To register, call the hotline 08701 602040 or or enter online at London Pride Walk and Fun Run
