Fulham Firms Shine at Brilliant Business Awards


With vegan supermarket, personal training and vape specialists among big winners

Businesses based in Fulham scooped up most of the prizes at the H&F Brilliant Business Awards, held on Thursday 17 November at Hammersmith Town Hall.

They included a number of innovative new names, with vegan supermarket GreenBay and Livefit - both in North End Road -among the biggest winners.

GreenBay, which sells everything you would find in a normal supermarket, but all 100% vegan, won the public vote for Best Fulham Business.

In addition, it was Highly Commended by the judges in two categories -Best Small Business and Best New Business.

Livefit Personal Training, run by experienced personal trainer James Hardy, has a studio off North End Road and also offers outdoor training on Eel Brook Common, Parsons Green and Bishops Park. It won two of the judges' categories - Best Health and Beauty Business and Best Small Business.

Fulham's other big winners were:

Jewellery specialist Merci Maman,  launched in 2007 by Béatrice de Montille, a French mum living in London and now based at a studio in Heathman's Road off Parsons Green - Best Customer Service

Bed and mattress specialist Button & Sprung, whose showroom is at Imperial Studios in Imperial Road - Best Design and Interiors Business

House of Vapes, a recent addition to Fulham Broadway with a huge selection of authentic vape gear & e-liquids available to try - Best New Business

Funky Juice, which has become an essential part of Fulham Broadway with its range of smoothies, snacks and coffees and which has been Highly Commended in the two previous Brilliant Business Awards - Best Place to Drink

Imagineear, a leading provider of multimedia content and technology solutions based in Parsons Green won two categories in last year's Brilliant Business Awards and triumphed once again this year by winning Best Technology Business.

Fulham Good Neighbours, a long-established local charity, based in Rosaline Road, working towards a community where neighbours look out for each other and offer help when it’s needed. It proved a very popular winner of Best Socia Enterprise of Charity.

This year nearly 3,000 people voted for their favourite local businesses in the H&F Brilliant Business Awards, now in their fifth year and the organisers are now hoping the 2017 Brilliant Business Awards will be even bigger.
