New events join old favourites in arts festival's third year
Hammersmith and Fulham's own arts festival is back in June, presenting its biggest programme to date in its third year.
Organisers say they are putting the finishing touches to the programme of HF ArtsFest and many of the wide variety of events are already online.
The ArtsFest, which runs from June 6 - 12 is sponsored by H&F Council and developer St George and showcases theatre, music, dance, film, art and literature from across the borough.
This year new events will be joining familiar favourites in a line-up offering something for people of all ages.
Some of the highlights include:
" It’s fantastic to see HF ArtsFest flourishing," says Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration. " It has become a much loved feature of our summer and we’re proud to support the organisers' hard work."
" It’s been a challenging but very rewarding time developing the model of this fantastic community festival," says chair of HF ArtsFest Petrea Owens.
"With the backing of the HF ArtsFest board and team, together with the financial support of St George and Hammersmith & Fulham Council, we’ve been able to build on the incredible work of the founder and previous chair Cathy Robertson.
"
Representation from each strand of the arts in the borough is growing and the standard of the events on offer for the general public is quite staggering."
