Celebrating the cultural richness in our borough
Hammersmith and Fulham is to have its first Arts Festival this summer.
The festival, running from June 8 - 15 aims to celebrate and promote the cultural richness in our borough in terms of theatre, music, dance, film, art and literature.
The ArtsFest team is led by chair Cathy Robertson, who says: " We would love to take on the look and feel of bigger festivals. Our intent is for this to become an annual arts festival for all to enjoy.
"We are very focused on promoting the cultural richness of the borough through theatre, music, dance, film, arts and literature."
Riverside Studios, the Lyric and Bush Theatres, Nomad Books, Albert & Friends’ Instant Circus, jazz venue The 606 Club, Addison Singers, Acava Studios, W11 Opera, Regenerated Space for Art, the Macbeth Centre and Twice as Nice Comedy have already signed up to be part of the new festival, and Cathy hopes that each year it will continue to grow.
Cathy says the team is also looking for both individual and business supporters to help make the ArtsFest come alive. If you are interested, email Cathy Robertson.
