Help Shape Council's Air Quality Action Plan

Report to be presented to public meeting at Town Hall on Monday

A report on a public consultation on Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s draft Air Quality Action Plan is being presented at Hammersmith Town Hall on Monday 18 September.

Residents are invited to the meeting, at 7pm in the Courtyard Room to hear the details and share their views.

The council says it launched the consultation in July, seeking residents’ views on its revised plan, which sets out all the things it is doing, and planning to do, to improve air quality and help residents' health and wellbeing.

The report will be presented to H&F Council’s Community Safety, Environment and Residents’ Services PAC meeting.

“We’d love residents to come along and help us prioritise the right things in our draft action plan,” said Cllr Larry Culhane, Committee Chair.

“We want to be the greenest borough in the country and improving air quality is a key priority for us, we want to make sure we’re doing all we can to keep residents safer from harmful emissions.”

If you can’t make the meeting, you can view and comment on the draft action plan here.

Other items on the agenda on Monday include CCTV in the borough and the role of neighbourhood wardens. You can see the agenda here.
