Road still closed after elderly victim hit by lorry this morning

An elderly man has died this morning following a collision with a lorry on Fulham Palace Road.

Police says they were called at approx 10.35am on Monday, 8 July to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry in Fulham Palace Road, near the junction with Crabtree Lane.

Police officers, LAS and London Fire Brigade all attended the scene.

The elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details about him have been released.

The lorry stopped at the scene, and officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit are investigating.

Fulham Palace Road remains closed between Lillie Roads and Niton Street.

Police say no arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
